In the Axarquia, close to the village of Comares and the hamlet of Los Ventorros this Spanish Country House has been lovingly restored by its British owners.
Typically Andalucian in design, you will have the opportunity to capture the flavour of the Spanish way of life with all the comforts of home.
The villa has 2 bedrooms, the master which is en suite has the most charming, romantic 4 poster bed. The second bedroom is a twin, also en suite. The lounge has a wood burning stove - very welcome after a brisk winter walk in the mountains - there is satellite TV and a music system.
The kitchen is well fitted with all the equipment you are likely to need as well as a breakfast table and chairs.
The front door opens to a covered terrace also with table and chairs and there are various other terrace areas located about the property, as well as an established garden. The garden is shared with Butterfly Cottage which is under the same ownership. The owner of both (Vicky) lives nearby the will be pleased to provide local information on request.
The swimming pool is an unusual shape about 10 metres long and 6metres wide with a depth varying between 1 and 1.5 metres. There is water in the pool from April until October. There are sun loungers and a barbecue on the pool terrace.
The swimming pool is for "guests only" and guests ( max x 2) of Butterfly cottage ( ref:C250) have pool access.
Shopping is convenient at the local village shop with a larger selection in Comares, 5 minutes by car. Also in Ventorros, try a drink outside the local Bar/Restaurant with the local villagers watching the world go by - a couple of words of Spanish will be appreciated and you will be made to feel immediately at home. Andalucians love visitors and are the warmest of people.
