Monté de Los Almendros is the most exclusive residential area of Salobreña and our villa is situated opposite the community sports area and swimming pools.

There are two pools including a children's pool, a five a side grassed football pitch, tennis court and a small drinks kiosk which is open during the summer months.

The apartment is on the lower level of the villa with it's own private entrance from the well laid out gardens.

Our accommodation consists of 2 good size bedrooms - a double and a twin - a family bathroom with shower, Large lounge dining room fitted and furnished to a high standard plus and American style kitchen which has only recently been installed. The kitchen is complete with dish washer, washing machine and microwave oven as well as a normal electric oven and 4 burner ceramic hob.

Outside, the gardens are landscaped and there is a pleasant terrace area for sunbathing, sunbeds and patio furniture are supplied.

Parking is either at the bottom or top gates, there is an entrance from two quiet roads.

Shopping in the main would be done in Salobreña although there is lots of choice, with both Motril and Almuñecar being no more than 10 minutes drive from the property. There are local municipal food markets each day except Sunday in all three towns and a substantial general market which is very popular, in Almuñecar on Friday mornings.

Motril Golf course is open to all and is just ten minutes drive from the apartment. Golfing equipment which includes clubs, buggies and golf carts can be hired for nominal rental charges.

Almuñecar has a very good splash park (Aqua Tropical) which is open from mid June until September each year - a great favourite with children of all ages. The park is right on the sea front and has substantial garden areas offering lots of shaded places to curl up with a book.

The Rock Beach Ranch next to the Hotel Salobreña is british run and offers trekking and various rides for all ages.

Whatever your choice of activity you will find it here on the Costa Tropical and I know you will fall in love with Salobreña and the surounding area, just as I have.
