Apartment Salobreña is situated on a hillside overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and down to the old Andalucian village of Salobrena. The Apartment is individual and very private. It enjoys its own entrance, has lots of terrace area all with commanding views out to sea. The 35ft. swimming pool has been built with an infinity effect so you can enjoy the views even while you swim.
The entrance to Apartment Salobreña is at street level from a private parking space, then there are twelve steps down to the front door of the apartment. It is in the style of a cottage rather than an apartment and you will have the gardens to yourself.
The Apartment has two bedrooms, large lounge area with American style kitchen This has washing machine electric oven, gas 4 ring hob, fridge freezer, toaster and Kettle and all the crockery, pots and pans, cutlery & other odds and ends needed to make your holiday comfortable.
The Lounge area is comfortably fitted to a high standard and has satellite television in English including BBC and ITV. Most of the UK radio stations can also be received.
The views from every window in every room are over the swimming pool and out to the Mediterranean. Every room is South facing which means sunshine from sunrise to sunset. There is wireless Broadband / ADSL access.
The windows are all new PVC double glazed and have shutters to keep the sun out in the mornings - ensuring a long and peaceful sleep. From the Master bedroom a door opens directly onto the breakfast terrace which in turn leads to the pool area.
The Bathroom is large with a generous shower cubicle and as much hot - "or cold" water as you like.
From the pool area there are steps to the garage and then a door onto the coastal footpaths below. These footpaths meander for miles both to the east and the west. A small beach lies ten minutes walk to the west and a small rocky cove 15 minutes to the east. There is an English run riding school where horses can be hired just past the beach. It is possible to walk to Salobreña along the coast - it is 3 minutes by car.
Virtually every morning and every evening throughout the year, dolphins can be seen from the terrace playing in the water below so remember to bring binoculars for a real close up treat.
The Hotel Salobrena, a 5 minute walk from the apartment is a charming family hotel and welcomes visitors to use their pool. They have a poolside bar, barbecue and snacks plus family entertainment in the summer months. The Rock Beach Horse Riding School offers rides for all ages.
Thirty minutes from Granada and the Alhambra, 75 from the Ski resort of Sierra Nevada and 5 minutes from the glory that is the Alpujarra - there is something in this area for everyone and no matter what your taste - we guarantee you will never forget Salobreña or the Costa Tropical.
