Overlooking Velilla beach in Almuñecar on the Costa Tropical this two bedroom apartment is ideal for the family holiday, or long winter break.
The entrance to the Apartment is at street level via the well cared for tropical gardens and past the large swimming pool. Then there is a lift directly to the apartment door which is on the third floor of the building.
The Apartment has two bedrooms and lounge area with American style kitchen. This has electric hob, mini oven, microwave, freezer and large fridge freezer, plus all the crockery, pots and pans, cutlery & other odds and ends needed to make your holiday comfortable.
The lounge / dining area has television, soft furnishings, table and chairs and opens directly onto the terrace which has further patio table and chairs for "al fresco" dining.
The views from the lounge and from the terrace are over the swimming pool and out to the Mediterranean sea. The apartment is South facing which means there is sunshine all day long.
The bedrooms consist of a double and a triple - the triple has one single bed and bunk beds, then there is one family bathroom with shower cubicle.
The swimming pool is open from mid June until mid September approximately. The sea front of Almunecar is long, flat and well serviced with restaurants, beach bars, plus shops of all descriptions including supermarkets and a pharmacy so a car is not at all necessary.
In the summer months the water / splash park "Aqua Tropical" is wonderful entertainment for the whole family. This is about 5 minutes walk from the accommodation and is open throughout July, August and early September.
The town center of Almunecar is about 10 to 15 minutes gentle walk along the sea front - it is an old white Andalucian pueblo with a Moorish castle. Shopping is excellent and the town is full of good eating places to suit every taste and pocket.
Almuñecar is and ideal town in which to enjoy the Spanish fiesta. The Easter parades here are really worth seeing, during the summer the town fiesta week is equally spectacular with great fireworks displays and an annual Jazz Festival in the main park.
