Torrox Park is set just off the coast road between Nerja and Torrox Costa on the Eastern part of the Costa del Sol. It is a quick drive from Malaga Airport via motorway passing Anoreta Golf course, Torre del Mar, Velez Malaga and Baviera Golf en route. Our apartment is in a quiet location only a few minutes from the beach.
There is one spacious double bedroom with built in wardrobes and a complete modern bathroom. There is a large sofa bed in the lounge which can sleep one further person in comfort. The lounge also has satellite TV receiving English channels plus CD/radio and DVD player.
The Lounge dining room is light and airy with American style kitchen and all the conveniences of home - including microwave oven and washing machine. From the lounge, access to the terrace is via french windows, from here you will be able to enjoy restful views over the well cared for tropical gardens and down to the Mediterranean Sea.
In Torrox park and only a short walk from the accommodation there are lots of amenities including a large swimming pool (open May to October), tennis courts boule (pétanque), children's playground with swings and slides, shops, bar and a first class Italian restaurant. Down at Penoncillo Beach beach - 900 mtrs. - there are restaurants and bars whilst Nerja only 5 minutes by car is a thriving holiday resort with just about every kind of entertainment you could wish for.
Torrox is divided into two parts, the Costa and the old white Andalucian pueblo (village). The Costa is only three or four minutes from our apartment and has a long flat promenade lined on one side with a tremendous variety of restaurants and bars which absolutely buzz in the summer time. Throughout July and August the area fills with Spanish visitors from Madrid to Granada and other parts of inland Spain.
Shopping is straightforward and easy at a small supermarket/wine store 5 minutes walk from the apartment. In the same area there is a pub specialising in home cooked food, and a hairdressing salon.
