In the Axarquia, on the edge of the enchanting village of Canillas this Spanish Village House has been lovingly restored by its British owners.

Typically Andalucian in design, you will have the opportunity to capture the flavour of the Spanish way of life with all the comforts of home.

The House has 2 bedrooms, both are en suite to a large and airy bathroom.

The second bedroom opens onto its own private terrace with

"Juliet Balcony" overlooking the inner courtyard.

The lounge is delightfully Spanish and very comfortably furnished, there is satellite TV and a DVD/CD player plus a good selection of english language books.

The kitchen is modern & well fitted with all the equipment you are likely to need including a dish washer, microwave, kettle and toaster. From the kitchen there is direct access to both the stylish dining room and also to the inner courtyard. The courtyard is a cool retreat during the summer months and a very pleasant and quiet area in which to eat.

The washing machine and tumble dryer are both situated in the laundry room which is separate from the kitchen.

The spacious roof terrace has some of the best views in the Axarquia. Being situated on the edge of the village means unobstructed views right down to Lake Vinuela and to the South West over the valleys to the Mediterranean Sea.

The roof terrace is furnished with a gas barbecue to satisfy the most demanding garden chef, comfortable eating area, sun bed and chairs.

Shopping is convenient at the local village shops, there are two banks in Canillas as well as a post office.

Restaurants & bars are charming and welcoming, they offer a variety of local specialities including some excellent tapas.

During the summer months the community swimming pool is open, it is new, large and set in well cared for gardens.

Andalucians love visitors - they are the warmest of people, any attempt to communicate in Spanish will be appreciated so try to learn just a few words before you arrive and you will be part of village life from the moment you arrive.

Malaga Airport is 60 minutes and the beaches of the Eastern Costa del Sol only 25 minutes.
